At Kells Equestrian we start pony camps from Easter onwards, throughout the summer months.

Summer Camps Dates

Camp 1: 30 June to 04 July 2008
Camp 2: 07 July to 11 July 2008
Camp 3: 14 July to 18 July 2008
Camp 4: 21 July to 25 July 2008

Camp Content:
Rider assessment, demonstrations, lectures and stable management.

Videos on Dressage, Show Jumping, Cross-Country and Road Safety.

Turn out of pony, grooming, feeding, worming, shoeing, clipping, care and working of a pony stabled or grass kept.

Points of the horse, care of minor wounds, care and cleaning of saddlery, Turn out of rider, Position in walk-trot-canter and gallop, simple turns and circles, Independent work in the open, riding up and down hills, Walk/trot over grid poles as preliminary to jumping small fences and ditches. Riding in the country side across farm land.
